How to Adopt
Petty Pawz Rescue is committed to finding all of our companions a loving home. We want to make the adoption process easy and enjoyable for the family while still keeping our companion's best interest in mind. To be considered, all individuals will be required to fill out an adoption application and sign the contract. We encourage you to read over the contract before deciding if you want to adopt from us. Once you are approved to adopt, we keep your application on file for 60 days just in case you aren't quite ready to adopt but want to start the approval process. After everything is finalized and references have been checked, we will collect the adoption fee. Finally, you will be able to enjoy a long, loving life with your new furamily member.

Adoption Fee for Dogs/Puppies: $350.00

Adoption Fee for Senior Dogs (7+ years) : $250.00

Adoption Fee for Cats/Kittens: $150.00
​
Adoption Fee for Senior Cats (10+ years): $100.00

All companions will come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

In order to be considered for adoption you must first apply. All applicants must be 21 years or older. We will contact you via email or phone on the status of your adoption application within 3-5 days. This allows us time to thoroughly check your references and history before approving you for that animal. If we do not think the animal is a good fit for you, we may suggest another companion or deny your application. We want the best for both family and animals. There will be a contract every adopter must agree to before adopting. Please make sure to review the contract in its entirety. Failure to follow the contract could result in legal action. Petty Pawz Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption for the safety, welfare, and best interest of our animals.
